During our "viernes en comunidad," students participate in a rotation of activities that include: community walkabouts, service learning projects, empathy-building, a career speaker series, and teambuilding. The goal is for students to bring CVLCC's 4 Pillars (Community Engagement, Global Perspectives, Dual Language and Social Justice) into practice as they connect with and explore their school community and the community around us.

From Comunidad emerged the idea of joining students from both grades to form a "House." Each House participates in unison through all the activities.
